The last two weeks of the wellness challenge should be focusing on bringing all those healthy habits together and using them daily. This week we introduce the topic of gratuity and positivity. The power of positive thinking and being grateful are both important parts of mental health. Since I’m no mental health expert I don’t want dive too deep into this topic beyond my scope of practice but instead just to encourage my challenge participants and readers to try to look at the glass half full. I struggle with this daily and tend to feel as if anything bad is a catastrophe. Trying something new, including a daily habit can be intimidating but when you look at the big picture and see the positive impact it will have in the future then it’s a little easier.
I will be running a second challenge group later this year so make sure you stay on the radar to sign up for it if you missed out this go around. Even if you already consider yourself a healthy person a wellness challenge can be a great way to learn something new to improve your health. Have you ever done a wellness challenge before? How did it go?
